Welcome to Hart Ransom Junior High Math. My name is Ms. Cordeiro and I have been at Hart Ransom for fourteen years. I am very excited to continue to use the curriculum titled Illustrative Mathematics. This program focuses on conceptual understandings of math and will assist our learners to think of numbers as sets of objects instead of rote memorization and abstract symbols that we manipulate.
To be successful of our learning we must;
*BE SAFE*
-We move about carefully.
-We keep our hands and feet to ourselves.
-We enter and exit the classroom calmly.
*BE RESPONSIBLE*
-We are prepared with materials
-We listen attentively to the speaker.
-We follow directions immediately.

-We do our best.
